Trustees meet quarterly to consider outline applications and to decide which proposals they would like to progress to the next (second) stage. For administrative reasons, we have created a series of cut-off dates; outline applications received by these dates will be put on the agenda for the next Trustees’ meeting.

The dates for 2017 are as follows:

  • Monday, 6th November 2017

The dates for 2018 are as follows:

  • Monday, 5th February
  • Tuesday, 8th May
  • Monday, 2nd July
  • Monday, 5th November

The cut-off is noon on each of the above dates and please do try to submit well ahead of the deadline date/time to avoid getting caught up in any last-minute issues with your internet access.

You will get an immediate automated receipt for your submission, but we also aim to send a personalised acknowledgement of all outline proposals within the following 10 working days, at which point we will confirm when you may expect to receive notification of the decision.

Please do not email or call us for the outcome of your application: we will send you a written or emailed decision as soon after the Trustees’ meeting as possible.

Briefly – and for information only – second stage applications are in the form of a more detailed version of the outline proposal, with supporting evidence. These are fully assessed by a member of our staff prior to presentation to our Trustees for a decision. If you are successful at the outline stage we will send you some more detailed instructions on how to prepare a second stage submission, together with an indication of the timetable that will apply.
