Trustees and staff

As a company limited by guarantee, the Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, whom we refer to as the Trustees. The Trustees set strategic direction, approve grant applications, monitor grant activities, ensure that all activities are within the agreed charitable objectives and agree the financial plan. Three part-time staff are engaged to run the day-to-day operations.

Ashley has been a Trustee since 18 November 2004 and became the Foundation's Chairman on 1 January 2010, succeeding Brian Sweetland.

Foundation Director

Danielle has been employed as the Foundation Director since 2004.

Andrew Thompson

Grants Manager

Andrew has been employed as part-time Grants Manager since June 2008.

Sue Maddin

Foundation Administrator and PA to the Foundation Director

Sue has worked for the Foundation since October 2006.
