Friends Provident Tradition
The Foundation also carries forward a legacy of giving by the Friends Provident Group.
Trustees have determined that a proportion (currently up to 15%) of the Foundation's funds may be committed in line with previous gifts to charity made by the Group.
The current criteria for giving are:
- Medical research aimed at preventative medicine
- Charities/causes that were related to the regions where Friends Provident operated as an employer, including the City of London
- Quaker initiatives
Please note that funding will not be given to individuals.
Application under the Friends Provident Tradition is by letter to the Company Secretary, Friends Provident Foundation, Secretariat, Pixham End, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1QA or by email. Please do not try to use the outline application form provided on this website for this purpose; this is only for the Financial Inclusion programme.
